The Lowdown - Ocean Sand Golf & Beach Resort

Our trip will take place the week of January 20th, 2007 for 7 days at the Ocean Sand/Blue Golf and Beach Resort. It is an excellent resort that is newly built, and is rapidly becoming one of the more visited places in Punta Cana.

Check out: Ocean Sand on Trip Advisor for reviews as well as on Debbies Everything Dominican Page and some pictures taken from Webshots of Ocean Sand.

Here is the cost breakdown.

Leaving on Jan 20th, for a week of fun & sun, not to mention unlimited alcohol and food, based on Double Occupancy it works out to $1,529 ALL-INCLUSIVE, that price also includes taxes and is guaranteed not to have the soon to be added gas tax (deposit required). It does not however include your insurance. So depending on your current insurance level it could add an additional $99 max to the trip.

Other rooming options:
Based on single occupancy $1,879 ALL-IN
Based on triple occupancy $1,459 ALL-IN

If you are a single we will work out the best way to combine you with someone else who is a single that will be fun and share similar intrestes, thus saving $300 per person. Just let us know. Unless of course you want the room to yourself.

If you are interested, the two-week price based on double occupancy is $2,259

Deposits Required - $150

We have contacted a great travel agent through a friend of ours and he will be dealing with our trip, answering questions and of course, collecting money. His name is Cameron Triggs and he can be reached at 905-432-1444 ext 222 or by emailing him cam.commodore@bellnet.ca We require 12 deposits to classify our group official. Even though we fully expect 30 or so people to attend. Please give him a call and confirm your deposit with him should you be 100% commited to attending our destination wedding. Putting in your deposit I beleive also guarantees you do not get taxed the additional "gas surcharge" that is applicable in July I believe. We do require 12 deposits sooner than later, so if you're in, give him a call please. The remaining total will be due by November 26th, 2006.
